Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless beef loin chops (150g each)
  • 35g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, finely diced
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, finely diced
  • 120ml chicken stock
  • 90g unsalted butter, diced into small cubes
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Chops: In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Coat each chop evenly with the seasoned flour and set aside.
  2. Sear the Beef Chops: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chops for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same pan, add rosemary and garlic; sauté until golden. Pour in chicken stock and whisk in butter until melted. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Baste and Serve: Return the beef chops to the pan and baste with sauce for about a minute. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
