  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp softened butter

Instructions

  1. Bloom the yeast by mixing warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and cinnamon. Gradually add the yeast mixture and melted butter to form a dough.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about an hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread softened butter over it. Sprinkle the filling mixture evenly across.
  5. Roll up tightly from one end, slice into 12 pieces, and arrange in a greased pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before glazing.
